CV Help - How to write a CV- TIP nine – use “Action” words on your CV

  How to write a CV Action words on a CV will bring to life what you did, how you did it and what the positive outcomes were for your employer. This use of action words will also move you away from simply listing your duties: (see “CV Writing TIP four – “Impact and Outcome” based CV”).  Action words (verbs) will paint a dramatic picture of you and what you have accomplished: “Won £2m order” – “Saved 400 man hours per month” – “Completed project at 76% of forecast budget cost”. Using “Action Words on your CV” will make you think of achievements: this is after all what recruiters want to see evidence of.
